Crock Pot Baked Beans

2 lb of Great Northern Beans, picked and soaking in warm tap water, overnight or for 8 hours at least
2 bay leaves, teaspoon of mustard seeds, 2 teaspoons of mustard powder
1/2 white onion chopped, 3 scallions from the garden
Ham bone saved from a meal earlier in the week, will add wonderful flavor.  If you are making vegetarian beans, leave this out, if you are a carnivore but don't have a ham bone on hand you can substitute it with 1/4 lb cooked bacon
2 - 15 oz cans of Chicken Broth (low sodium) + 2 cans of water
1/4 cup loosely packed Light Brown sugar
2 tbs honey
Add salt, black pepper, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tbs cider vinegar and all the ingredients above into a crock pot to cook - I originally set it to 4 hrs but re-set it once more for a total of 8 hours.
Done!
